Solabcool adsorption cooling system in the Netherlands combined with a cooling ceiling

ARES is proud to announce the first fully functional Solabcool adsorption system in the Netherlands. The innovative installation is being used for cooling of the office of Chargepoint Europe BV and is powered by solar heat through heat tubes. The technology in the system converts heat into cooling, which is distributed in the building through a cooling ceiling from Harreither GmbH. This results in a pleasant temperature, without using airconditioning. The solabcool is free from harmful coolants and contains only sustainable materials like silica and water as refrigerant. The official commissioning of this first installation marks an important step in sustainable climate technology and opens the door to wider utilization in the built environment domestically and abroad.
